Clicky Bezel began as a YouTube channel created by founder Chris Tran, built around a genuine love for watches and the stories behind them. What started online eventually grew into something much larger: a physical retail space in the heart of San Francisco dedicated to enthusiasts, collectors, and curious newcomers alike. The store officially opened in May 2025.
The vision for Clicky Bezel was heavily shaped by several trips to Japan, where Chris experienced a culture that deeply values craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and an appreciation for watches at every level, from affordable everyday pieces to rare independents. That perspective helped shape what Clicky Bezel would eventually become: a welcoming space centered around discovery, conversation, and community rather than traditional luxury retail.
Today, Clicky Bezel focuses on independent brands, enthusiast-driven watchmaking, and pieces that are often difficult to experience in person elsewhere. More than simply selling watches, the store was created to give people a place to slow down, try things on, ask questions, and connect with others who share the same passion.
The evolution of Clicky Bezel from YouTube channel to retail destination was later featured in the San Francisco Examiner, highlighting how an online audience transformed into a real-world community space for watch enthusiasts in Union Square.
Clicky Bezel is operated alongside Chris’s wife, Diep, who runs her own creative business within the shared space. Together, they built the store independently from the ground up with the long-term vision of continuing to expand the experience, the community, and eventually a fully dedicated watch-focused space of its own.
At its core, Clicky Bezel is about bringing enthusiasm for watches into the real world. A place where craftsmanship, design, and community all come together under one roof.
