ABOUT THIS WATCH
Following the overwhelming success of our Essence Space Rock and Space Gold dials, we’re excited to unveil the latest addition to our meteorite collection: the Essence “Space Glacier”, available in both 39mm and 43mm stainless steel cases.
Inspired by the technique used for our Space Gold model—where real 18K rose gold is applied to the meteorite—the Space Glacier features a bright layer of 98% pure silver applied via electroplating, followed by six hand-applied layers of transparent zapon teintée : delicate layers of transparent cellulose lacquer infused with just a drop of blue color. Unlike traditional PVD coatings, this method preserves (in fact, it enhances) the natural Widmanstätten pattern and the meteorite’s inherent brilliance, rather than concealing it.
The result is a strikingly elegant, ice-blue dial—each with its own unique pattern. No two are alike. Thanks to the meteorite’s conductivity, our dial experts were able to solder the dial feet directly onto the meteorite base, eliminating the need for a brass backing typically required for stone dials. This allowed us to work with a 0.5mm-thick meteorite slice and machine our signature beveled date window directly into the dial, creating a clean, refined, and fully integrated aesthetic.

All Essence straps and the bracelet can be changed by hand without the use of tools. The carbon fiber composite folding clasp with patented fine adjustment system can be changed without tools and can be used for all Essence ThirtyNine leather straps.
DIAL
Muonionalusta meteorite dial, plated with 98% pure silver through electroplating, then coated with six hand-applied layers of translucent blue zapon lacquer. The Widmanstatten pattern-formed by the ultra-slow cooling of the asteroid's core over millions of years-remains fully visible and uniquely enhanced by this finishing method. Each dial is a one-of-a-kind piece, with its own naturally occurring crystalline structure. The beveled date window is directly machined into the meteorite, thanks to its conductive properties, allowing for a brass-free construction and ultra-thin 0.5mm profile. To keep your watch performing at its best, we recommend avoiding strong impacts, extreme temperatures, and prolonged exposure to moisture unless your watch is designed for water activities. After exposure to salt water, rinse the watch gently with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth.
For mechanical watches, regular wear helps keep the movement running smoothly. If the watch is not worn often, manual winding may be needed depending on the model. Quartz watches may require battery replacement over time.
Leather straps should be kept away from excessive water and humidity to preserve their appearance and longevity.
