Formex’s bestselling Essence now lands in the sweet-spot 41 mm stainless-steel case—precisely re-proportioned between 39 and 43. It retains the brand’s signature, patented Case Suspension System and adds a new screw-down crown engineered to work with the shock-absorbing case design for extra security and comfort. Four signature dials—Blue, Gamaret, Dégradé, and White—showcase crisp finishing from our family-owned dial manufactured in the Swiss Jura. A next-generation, patented butterfly clasp brings on-the-fly micro-adjustment (0 / 3 / 6 mm) without opening the bracelet, so the fit stays perfect all day. Vertical brushing and diamond-polished bevels run end-to-end—from bezel and case through bracelet, indexes, and hands—for a cohesive Formex finish. Swiss Made. COSC-certified. All Essence straps and the bracelet can be changed by hand without the use of tools. The carbon fiber deployant clasp can be changed without tools and can be used for all Essence 41/43, Essence Leggera and Reef Nylon, Leather and Rubber straps.

Vertical brush finish with horizontally cut lines which are CNC machined into the dial base one by one. BGW9 Super-LumiNova on hands and indexes.
To keep your watch performing at its best, we recommend avoiding strong impacts, extreme temperatures, and prolonged exposure to moisture unless your watch is designed for water activities. After exposure to salt water, rinse the watch gently with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth.
For mechanical watches, regular wear helps keep the movement running smoothly. If the watch is not worn often, manual winding may be needed depending on the model. Quartz watches may require battery replacement over time.
Leather straps should be kept away from excessive water and humidity to preserve their appearance and longevity.
